The best place to stay when in Pozal De Gallinas. This small hotel is wonderful with excellent staff. This venue has gorgeous location in beautiful grounds. And it's very close to Spain as well as the ferry. The room is impressive and beautiful and essentials you need, including climate control, coffee and tea making equipment, and a work desk, is right there. The rate is £ 109, satisfied.

Travelling through Spain with our dog, we found Posada Real Del Pinar to be a rare find. The location, just 10 minutes from the main motorway, was convenient. As the only guests, we had the whole lounge to ourselves with a cozy wood burning stove. The owners, who are architects, have beautifully restored and decorated the posada. Our spacious bedroom led out onto a double terrace, and the grounds, with vast pine woodland, were perfect for our dog. The surprise peacocks added to the charm. Tania served a delicious breakfast, complete with eggs. I highly recommend this posada.
